ازالة خيارات اختيار الويندوز عند الاقلاع

Some users install more that one copy of Windows on there computers. This leads to the appearance of two or more options (according to the number of copies installed) of Windows at startup. Even when you uninstall other copies, the computer won't boot automatically to the default one but it will displays the options. To remove this annoying thing, the working Windows should be on C partition. There are several ways to remove these options to let the system boot automatically to the alone OS.

FIRST WAY: DEALING WITH TIME

When you see the options, you have 30 seconds to decide whether to choose the first option (Windows installed on C) or the other options (Windows installed on other partitions). If the 30 seconds pass and no option was selected, the computer chooses the first option.

We willl decrease the 30 delay time to 0 second so the sysetm chooses quickly the first option. As I said before, the working Windows copy should be on C partition

First Way
--------------

Open System Properties by right clicking in My Computer and choosing Properties
Choose Advanced from the upper options
Under "Startup and Recovery", click on Settings
In the new window, under "System startup", remove the check mark from "Time to dispay list of operating systems" or type 0 in beside this option
Click on OK

Second Way | For advanced users only
------------------

Open Run then type C:\Boot.ini
In the seond line where is written timeout=30, remove 30 and type 0 to be timeout=0
Save the changes

Third Way | For advanced users only

Open Run and type msconfig to open System Configuration Utility
Choose BOOT.INI option
In the timeout, remove 30 seconds and type 0
Click OK then Restart

N.B: Choose first the working OS from the uneditable list above (Found in the last lines and starts with multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) ....

SECOND WAY: REMOVING THE INVALID PATH

The best way is to delete this invalid operating system from the list. Usually, the path of this OS is found in Boot.ini. When the path is healthy (working), it should start with multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1).... . The path of the defective OS do not start with multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1).... . Do solve the problem, there are 2 ways.

First Way
--------------

Open Run, then type msconfig to open System Configuration Utility
Choose BOOT.INI from the upper list
You will see the uneditable script of the Boot.ini file, below it click on Check all Boot Paths, It is displys for you that there an invalid path for OS, do you want to delete it, you delete it and click OK then Restart

Second Way | For advanced users only

Open Run then type C:\Boot.ini to open Boot.ini
In the last lines, delete the invalid path that does not start with multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) .....
Save the changes
